sung by parents everywhere to their children. The farm is a happy, fun place
to be and an adventure for learning for children aged 1-5. Each story touches
on the concepts and skills important to the pre-school age groups. Each new
day brings new adventures for the farm animals as they discover the world around
them, learn new things and sing many well-known nursery rhymes and newly created
songs, specially created for the series.

The young animals are all very excited and everyone helps Moo Moo get ready. But they are so busy they don't notice that the weather has changed. Will Moo Moo be able to save the day? Quack Quack's Big Search (Lost & Found) Quack Quack discovers that Tilly, one of her egg sisters, is missing from her trolley and has been replaced by a rubber ball. The animals all search for the missing egg but cannot find Tilly anywhere. In the chaos that follows, Baa Baa goes missing tool. Springtime on the Farm (Favourite Things) Moo Moo is busy spring cleaning the Big Barn and Farmyard and all the animals have been given jobs to do. But when Woof Woof returns to his basket for a little nap he discovers his favourite blanket is missing - where would it be? |
Volume 3 : Fun Through the Seasons & Other Stories
Fun through the Seasons (Seasons)Baa Baa is very concern that the "daffydilly" she has planted for Moo Moo has missed spring and will now have to wait another year before it flowers. The animals all join in with Moo Moo's special "Seasons Song" to try to help the follower grow! Pirates & Princess (Imagination) It's a gloomy day and the young animals can't think of anything to do. Moo Moo suggests they use their imaginations. So the big barn is full of pirates and fairy princess as Baa Baa and the gang play the Imaginative Game. A Spot of Trouble (Jealousy) Poor Woof Woof has chicken pox and Moo Moo and the gang are taking extra special care of him. Everyone that is, except for Baa Baa who feels very left out and pretends to be ill as well. |

Shapes are Everywhere (Shapes)Moo Moo and Neigh Neigh teach the young animals all about the different shapes that can be seen around the farm. Then they all play the Shape Game. To round off a perfect day, Neigh Neigh has a special prize prize for the animal who finds the most shapes. Trains, Planes and Tractors (Transport) Woof Woof and Oink have discovered a large pile of windfall apples in the orchard and decide they should help Moo Moo by moving them - but how will they do it? In the end, the young animals discover that there are all types of transport. A Job for Woof Woof (Everyone is Special) Poor Woof Woof thinks that he isn't of any use to anyone and feels very sad and dejected. His friends decide that they must help Woof Woof find something to do that makes him feel special just like his hero - Sheepdog Shep. W ill they succeed? |
Volume 6 : 1-10 and Back Again
1-10 and Back Again (Counting)Baa Baa is very reluctant to join in the Counting Game because she thinks everyone will laugh at her because she can't count. With some special help from Woof Woof, she is soon busy counting up to 10 and having fun! Oink's Opposites (Opposites) Woof Woof and Oinky want to make an opposites collection. As they move around the farm they meet the others who are each busy in some activity or problem. They soon become distracted helping others with their problem… Let's Tidy (Tidying) It's one of those days in the Big barn where no-one can find anything they are looking for. When Moo Moo returns from helping Farmer MacDonald she can hardly believe the mess - she soon teaches the other animals a valuable lesson about tidying up. |
Volume 7 : Fun with Colours & Other Stories
Fun with Colours (Colours)Moo Moo has baked seven delicious cakes to take to the farm's harvest party. Her friends discover some bowls of icing and decide to decorate the cakes for Moo Moo. The young animals have lots of fun learning about colours as they decorate the cakes. A Friend in Need (Relationships) Moo Moo is very busy on the farm and she asks the young animals if they will help pack some apples for her. Oink is reluctant to help and would rather be playing football instead! When Moo Moo thanks the animals for all their help Oink feels bad because he hasn't helped at all. MacDonald's Farm Big Band (Music) Woof Woof and the other young animals think it would be fun to start up their own band. With the help of Moo Moo, Woof Woof discovers he has a very special musical talent of his own and the MacDonald's Farm Band is soon creating music. |
Volume 8 : Safety First & Other Stories
Safety First (Safety)Farmer MacDonald's has had a big clear out of the Farmhouse Loft and left a pile of boxes for the animals to sort out. Along the way, they learn some valuable lessons about safety as they have fun and games around the barn. Woof Woof Makes a Friend (Recycling) The young animals have a great idea to make some presents for Moo Moo and Neigh Neigh using rubbish from Neigh Neigh's recycling bins, including a very useful "Scarecrow Robot". Nurse Baa Baa to the Rescue (Caring for Others) Baa Baa, Oink and Woof Woof are playing doctors and nurses in the barn. But when Woof Woof gets a splinter in his paw, his friends get so busy looking after him that they completely forget they should be helping to collect apples. Moo Moo is cross with them until she discovers a very important lesson about caring for others. Please and Thank You (Manners) Woof Woof is too busy rushing around looking for his bone to remember his manners and Baa Baa comes up with a clever idea to remind the excitable young pup of his manners! |
